Launch Image Gallery		  USB-485 Communication Interface

The USB-485 Communication Interface is a protocol converter used to connect a PC's USB port to the RS-485 input on your Kantech controller KT-1/KT-200/KT-300/KT-400. The maximum bus length is 1,200 m (4,000 ft) when using an Ethernet Grade 3, unshielded, two twisted pair cable (Belden # 1227A recommended).

  • Supports up to 32 Kantech controllers
  • Uses unshielded twisted pair (UTP) communication cable
  • Supports Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard/Enterprise, Windows Datacenter 2012 (X64), Windows 10 Enterprise, Windows 8.1 Enterprise x86 and x64, Windows 7 Pro Enterprise/Ultimate (32- and 64-bit versions)
  • Powered by USB port
  • Extends communication up to 1,200 m (4,000 ft)
