• The Managed Services Provider (MSP) hosts the database, server applications and hardware infrastructure, and provides the initial set-up of the Account and components, which enables an end user to administer the services from either a secure web client or workstation.

• The MSP hosts and manages the database, server applications and hardware infrastructure. The MSP also provides on an ongoing basis all functionality and needs of the Account and components. The end user makes requests to the MSP for all changes and operation, and has the ability to perform day to day operations from the secure web client.

• The MSP provides customizable service offerings that could combine both Hosted and Managed access control. It can be tailored to those end users who want to be hands-on with managing the system, but cannot manage the entire system on their own.

• Credential Services allows MSPs to offer their customers a turnkey solution for printing credentials. In this solution, an internet portal allows customers to easily manage their badging needs. It overcomes the hurdles associated with managing badging or any part of an access control system. Burdens such as lack of qualified staff, infrastructure investment and system maintenance inefficiencies are all overcome by handing the task over to the MSP.
