ioProx™ Receiver & Transmitters
The ioProx 4-channel receiver and transmitters provide longer read range without comprising security.
ioProx receiver
The ioProx receiver can be programmed for either Wiegand format,
which is compatible with most door controllers on the market, or for Kantech
eXtended Secure Format (XSF) which, when used with one of Kantech’s door
controllers, provides enhanced security with an additional measure of protection
against ID access code duplication.
The ioProx receiver is capable of reading from a distance of up to 24.38
m (80 ft) with a power dipole antenna or 12.19 m (40 ft) with a standard antenna.
This longer read range is ideal for applications in remote locations where
the limited read range of traditional access control is insufficient.
ioProx transmitters
The ioProx transmitters are available in a 2 or 4 button version. With extra long read capability in the 433.92 MHz range, it is an ideal solution for parking lots and garages or anywhere there is a significant distance between a cardholder and the secured entrance.
Model available with integrated ioProx tag
The ioProx transmitters include a model with an integrated ioProx
tag for use with any ioProx card reader. Therefore, if an ioProx receiver
is installed in a parking garage and an ioProx card reader at the building
entrance, users can gain access to both using the same transmitter rather than
searching for a different key tag or card for each entrance.
