TCS Series Telephone Entry Systems
The TCS series multi-unit telephone entry systems have been designed to offer
more flexibility, performance and value than ever before!
The TCS series easily provides tenants with instant audio communications and
building access control. This advanced electronic directory telephone access
system is also visitor friendly.
Display
The large 32-character-backlit LCD provides easy-to-understand user prompts that allow visitors to scroll names in alphanumeric order. The electronic directory can be programmed to display occupants' apartment numbers, names or a number known only to the occupant's visitor.
Keypad
A vandal resistant metal keypad features raised Braille lettering and ADA user features including both audible and visual confirmation of user actions. The TCS series is also a keyless entry system, which enables tenants or authorized visitors to enter a 4-digit access code to unlock the entrance door.
Remote Service PC
A built-in modem is provided for upload/download communications with a remote IBM compatible PC. This allows a building superintendent to update the directory conveniently from an apartment within the building, or a service technician to update information without having to make a costly service visit.
Occupant's Telephone
The TCS series turns any telephone into a fully functional intercom/door entry station.
The number "9" unlocks the main entrance door for a programmed length of time,
and "7" can be configured to trip an auxiliary relay to operate a secondary
door or gate.
Local Service
In addition to easy programming through the built-in keypad, the unit can also accommodate a PC compatible keyboard. A local printer can also be connected to the TCS series RS-232 output port to print a hard copy record of all system activities (with time and date) as well as directory listings.
Master Building Access Switch
The unit has provision for a postal lock or emergency key to allow instant access to the building without the need to contact an occupant.
